Payment is expected on day of pick--up BEFORE animals are released.

We will not release a pet to anyone without verbal or written permission from the owner.

Feeding

All animals are fed twice per day unless you specify otherwise. We feed your dog's own food so as not to promote stomach distress by introducing a new food. Please provide enough the food in a plastic bag or plastic container for the boarding duration and label it with name, quantity and frequency. If we have to purchase more we will provide the receipt and add it to your boarding bill.

We administer all veterinarian prescribed medications at no extra charge. Please be sure to complete our medication form with the boarding contract.

Pets have different habits while boarding due to changes in environment, scheduling and routines. This may cause stress. Symptoms of stress could include excessive panting, loose stool, frequent (or infrequent) bowel movements, and excessive water consumption.

If your pet becomes soiled during their stay, we will bathe them.  We reserve the right to give your pet a flea bath upon arrival if it is determined your pet has fleas. This will be added to your boarding bill.

Vaccinations

We require proof of vaccinations for all of our dog guests.

Rabies:  Per Massachusetts State law, every dog must have a current Rabies vaccine.  Your Veterinarian will give your dog either a 1-year or a 3-year vaccine.  Either is acceptable.  Check the listed “due date” on your Rabies Certificate issued by your Veterinarian.

DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza & Parvovirus):  These vaccines are sometimes given together in a “Combo” vaccine (ie. DHLPP,DHP, DAP, D2APV) and sometimes given, and listed on your shot records, separately. They must be “up to date” before arrival for boarding.

Bordetella (Canine Cough): Your Veterinarian may, or may not, give this vaccine as a course of your dog’s normal care. We do require that Bordetella be given within the past 6 months. If it has not been given within the past 6 months, the update must be done at least 7 -10 days prior to arrival at our facility.

You must also have proof of a negative fecal sample and your dog must be on heartworm and flea and tick medications.
